From the Artist:
One of the most charming aspects of Grand Teton National Park is the consistent glaciers that ensure the mountains remain snow-capped year-round.
In the case of Mt. Moran, three glaciers team up on the project.
The glaciers grow in the winters, then recede throughout the summer in a parade of interesting shapes.
These shapes only complement one of my favorite mountains to paint.
Couple that with the still waters of Jackson Lake reflecting a picturesque treeline, and you have extra special subject matter.
