Artist Jim Wilcox Biography
Jim Wilcox has been a full-time artist since 1969, and has become one of the most recognized and awarded landscape painters in contemporary Western art.
Wilcox’s vivid impressionistic landscapes embody the Spirit of the West, and have delighted thousands of collectors around the globe.
He’s earned many of the most prestigious art awards in existence, and sold thousands of copies of his coffee table art book, “Canvassing the West.”
Wilcox strives to perfect the use of light and color in his work, especially through painting on location. He is also the inventor of the Soltek Easel.
